Major Events: Participate in the Adams County Beef Ball Spring District 6 Show Sale & Field Day Promotion of healthy beef in the area, and they also advertise on the local radio station.

Major emphasis: The Northeast affiliate emphasis area is to further promote the Santa Gertrudis breed. They definitely do that — they may be a small group but they pack a punch.

Interesting Facts: After 3 years as an active Northeast Association, the New York members branched out and formed their own association with Canada. This was a great day for the affiliate because it let them accomplish their goal of further promoting the Santa Gertrudis breed.
